Lessons include instruction by Sharon Jeffco (multiple world champion and carded judge) in either english or western disciplines, handling any horse safely, grooming, tacking, competitive training, colt handing, horsemanship and centered/balanced riding skills with reining, dressage, ranch trail, jumping and cutting being our specialties. Lessons take place in the indoor arena, outdoor arena, roundpens, turf jump course and on trails.  Jumping is optional. 

Requested private lessons $50 per hour

Group lessons riding 1 hour twice a week $40/lesson

Group lessons riding 1 hour three times a week $30/lesson

CAMP 

Our summer camp is the perfect solution for kids who want to learn more about riding and caring for horses. Double J campers will be guided by counselors and taught by professional and certified equestrian instructors. We teach English and Western riding instruction as well as general horsemanship, safety practices, sound riding skills, horse care, feeding, anatomy, and tack. Our camp is a non-competitive, skills-oriented camp. We pride ourselves on giving you safe, sound information and practice with horse care and riding....while having a good time.

A Camp Day Typically Includes:

• Riding Lessons

• Horse Care and Safety Demonstrations

• Grooming / Saddling

• Games / Races

• Prep for Possible End of Camp Skills Show

   

What to Bring & Wear

• No open-toed shoes or platform soled shoes

• No shorts

• Equestrian helmet use is mandatory at all Double J Ranch riding 
   sessions.  Helmets are available for campers use.
